Description:
This self-paced virtual class has two separate training paths.
The first is designed for experienced Web application developers and administrators who want to learn the new environments provided in the WebSphere Application Server - Express offering. The scope of this first path is learning the Rapid Application Development (RAD) environment provided by WebSphere Studio Site Developer Version 5.0 (V5.0) and deploying those applications in WebSphere Application Server - Express.
The second training path is designed for developers with little, or no, Java experience to quickly learn the fundamental concepts of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and apply those concepts using the Java programming language. After the fundamentals, focus is given to server-side programming with JavaServer Pages and Servlets using the Model-View-Controller architecture. The scope of the course is development of server-side applications for Web use.
