Description:

IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) enables organizations to manage information in the selection, invocation, and governance of services. This course enables system administrators and deployers to install, deploy, and integrate WSRR in their organization.

Audience:

This intermediate course is designed for system administrators and deployers with a strong background in installing and administering IBM WebSphere Application Server V6.

Objectives:

After completing this course, you should be able to:

• Deploy IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository V6 in a standalone or high-availability configuration
• Plan an IBM WebSphere Application Server topology for Service Registry
• Configure Service Registry to operate with a local or remote database installation
• Save and load configuration and business profiles based on a Service Registry instance
• Configure and customize governance enablers and Web UI elements
• Promote a WSRR service from one environment to another
• Enable and manage the fine-grained security model within Service Registry
