Prerequisites:
You should complete:

and possess the following skills:
- Senior system administrator level knowledge on the following operating systems:
- - UNIX servers: (preferably on Solaris 2.x, or SunOS, AIX, or HP-UX)
- - Windows servers: NT, 2000 Server, or XP
- Knowledge of windowing software operation on the following platforms:
- - UNIX: X-windows, including Openlook, Motif, and Common Desktop Environment (CDE)
- - Microsoft (MS) Windows: Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP
- Working knowledge of networking terms and concepts (Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), router, and hub)
- Basic operation and understanding of the Tivoli Management Environment, including:
- - Security roles, desktop, tasks, jobs, and scheduler
- - Function of Policy Regions and methods for using them
- - Functions provided by Tivoli Profile Managers and how to effectively use them
- - Use of profiles and how they relate to the Tivoli applications
