Description:
Learn to create templates, which may subsequently be used to generate reports in a variety of formats such as text based reports, drill-down, bar chart, pie chart, three dimensional, and worksheet. Learn how to schedule and distribute reports. An Oracle 8i instance, Netcool/OMNIbus Version (V3.6), an Oracle Gateway, and the Netcool/Reporter Server are pre-installed on each individual Solaris8 workstation. Each individual learns how to access the Netcool/Reporter user interface with a Web browser. A variety of report templates are generated and tested. Also, cover all the Netcool/Reporter user features and functions.
Audience:
This is an intermediate course for technical individuals who use Netcool/Reporter V2.0 to design and generate reporting information in a variety of formats sourced from Netcool/OMNIbus alerts data.

Prerequisites:
You must complete:
- IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus 7.0 Administration and Configuration (TN020)
You should also understand UNIX, databases, and SQL. Familiarity with Netcool ObjectServer alerts, status events, and other tables are desirable.
