Description:
The Rational RequisitePro Fundamentals course is an introductory course. The goal of this course is to provide users with a basic familiarity with the RequisitePro product for creating and managing requirements to be used throughout the lifecycle of a project. The course is a one-day workshop in setting up and using a project documentation and repository system for capturing and managing the changing requirements of a system using Rational RequisitePro. The course emphasizes how a managed approach to requirements management will contribute to project success. This is a hands-on course with exercises and activities to help users apply Requirements Management concepts. The student gains a general understanding of how to use RequisitePro to manage project scope by understanding requirement attributes and using traceability. The student also learns to assess the impact of the changing requirements of a project.
Audience:
The Rational RequisitePro Fundamentals course is intended for people using RequisitePro to organize, manage, and communicate the requirements of the project. The primary audience consists of business and requirements analysts. Additional audiences may include technical, QA and documentation managers, project leads and executives, application experts, salespersons, testers, designers and other software developers involved in requirements creation, specification, use and/or management.
