Description:

Note: IBM Rational Software instructor-led online (ILO) training is live and held in real time in a virtual classroom (online). Therefore, please do not make travel arrangements for this course.

This hands-on workshop introduces you to using pattern implementations in building service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions so that you can increase productivity, improve software governance, and increase quality. IBM® Rational® Software Architect enables you to find, use, and build implementations based on patterns. During this workshop, you gain direct experience in using patterns within Rational Software Architect by working as both a pattern consumer and a pattern producer. In the pattern consumer role, you learn how to use an existing pattern implementation, including locating the pattern, adding it to your work environment, and then applying the pattern. In the pattern producer role, you learn how to build a pattern implementation, package the pattern, and then make it available for others to use.
