Individuals who complete this 4-day course participate in the role of "recruiter." Throughout the course, the recruiter learns to set up recruiting events and other core admissions setup values. The recruiter interacts with "prospects" through recruiting events, and those prospects eventually submit applications and corresponding supporting materials to PeopleSoft University for admission.
Through course lessons and activities, students evaluate and check application materials for completeness, process test scores, and generate letters to applicants indicating missing information, complete information, and scholarship information. They admit and matriculate applicants and generate offer letters of admission. The majority of the course centers on the recruiting and entering of prospects, tracking of applicants, communicating with these individuals, and ultimate matriculation. The course also addresses self-service recruiting features such as prospect information requests.
