Description:

Application Administration (Siebel 7.7) is a foundational course for those roles that need to maintain and administer the Siebel 7.7 application post-implementation. It is a four-day course of Siebel core technology topics with an administrative focus where appropriate.

The course comprises four topic areas: User Interface Foundations, Architecture Foundations, Security, and Automation. The first section is an in-depth look at UI navigation, ending with coverage of administrative tasks to facilitate end-user access to data through the Siebel UI (list of values, activity plans and templates, iHelp). The second section provides an introduction to Siebel client and server architecture, and teaches students basic server administration tasks. The third section goes into depth on the tasks involved in maintaining an organization, including user administration and controlling access to data.
