Reporting with Visualizer

Overview:

Reporting with Visualizer focuses on the reporting capabilities of the Visualizer application to provide short and long-term analysis of events in your network environment. Participants learn how to create specific reports that will help them monitor and manage network resources more effectively. This twoday introductory course provides an in-depth look at the critical aspects of selecting and configuring reports used to effectively manage medium and large enterprise-wide networks. Key concepts are reinforced through hands-on exercises and interactive “Try It Now!” labs.

Participants learn to:
• Use Visualizer and Application Intelligence reports to quickly identify performance problems
• Use on-demand reports to evaluate network health
• Use Baseline and Trend reporting to analyze network performance over time
• Quickly analyze and troubleshoot the data collection process
• Fine-tune Visualizer performance for optimum use in any environment

Required prerequisites:
• Students must have a working knowledge of LAN technologies and topologies, the OSI reference model, and the function of network devices
