Overview:

This Boot Camp provides the opportunity for IT professionals new to Vista to obtain Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Windows Vista, Configuration certification and Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Support Technician certification, two of Microsoft's new generation of certifications introduced to better reflect technology and job-role skills. All the exams needed for certification are included in the Boot Camp as well as one free retake voucher for each exam if needed.

This course incorporates material from the following Official Microsoft Learning Products (OMLPs):

  • Course 5105: Deploying Windows Vista Business Desktops
  • Course 5118: Maintaining and Troubleshooting Windows Vista Computers
  • Course 5119: Supporting Windows Vista Computers with Desktop Images and Application Packages

You Will Take These Exams:

For MCTS certification:

  • 70-620 TS: Configuring Microsoft Windows Vista Client

For MCITP certification:

  • 70-622 Pro: Microsoft Desktop Support - ENTERPRISE

For current MCDSTs, requirements for both certifications can be met by taking:

Audience:

IT professionals who work in an upper MORG or enterprise environment that uses Windows Vista, have experience with previous versions of the Windows operating system, and might have experience with Windows Server operating systems.
