Administering Lotus LearningSpace 5 is a seminar for administrators and training managers who will use Lotus LearningSpace 5 to administer courses, manage access, and track data. Students learn how to manage user data, access, and course enrollment using the Lotus LearningSpace modules. Students also learn how to enable e-mail features, import and export AICC course structures and to compile and display reports. This seminar can be delivered using three strategies: Self-paced, computer-based instruction for independent learning. Students read information, complete interactive demonstrations, and review procedures and other reference materials online. Students can view the courseware on their local workstation, from an HTML server, or the seminar can be imported into LearningSpace where enrollment can be managed and progress can be tracked. Instructor-led, classroom based: The instructor presents seminar materials to a group of students in a classroom or meeting room. Interactive demonstrations can be installed on students' machines for independent viewing. A student guide provides extensive background information, procedural tables, and best practice tips. The instructor guide provides complete instructions for setting up, preparing, and delivering the seminar, including optional activities and discussion topics. This delivery method does not require a live LearningSpace application to be installed. Instead, the seminar includes simulated activities designed to give students experience using Lotus LearningSpace 5. Instructor-led, e-learning: The instructor uses the tools of the Virtual Classroom to present seminar materials to a group of students in a live, online session. Seminar materials include presentation files for display in the Whiteboard, interactive demonstrations displayed using the Screen Sharing tools, Student Guide, and Instructor guide. Student Guide files are packaged for easy electronic distribution to distance learners. Optionally, the instructor can create an additional activity to enable distance learners to access the interactive demonstrations. Students can complete these demonstrations independently to review materials presented in the live sessions.

Prerequisites
The prerequisites for this course include Attendance or completion of the "Using Lotus LearningSpace 5" seminar or equivalent experience.
