Description:

This is a 4 day course for programmers responsible for the design and development of custom Business Process Manager applications,and anyone who needs to know the capabilities of the Process Engine API for Java-based applications.

This course offers the opportunity to use the Process Engine Java API class libraries to develop custom applications that access the IBM FileNet P8 4.0 Process Engine. In order to practice these skills, you will write code and test Business Process management functions using IBM FileNet P8 Business Process Manager system.

Audience:

This is an intermediate course for programmers responsible for the design and development of custom Business Process Manager applications.

Anyone who needs to know the capabilities of the Process Engine API for Java-based applications.

Objectives:

• Build the knowledge and skills necessary to development custom Business Process Manager applications using an IBM FileNet Business Process Manager system

Prerequisites:

You should complete:

• Getting Started with IBM FileNet P8 (F000)
• IBM FileNet Business Process Manager Administration 4.0 is a plus (F007)
• IBM FileNet BPM Process Design is a plus (F021)

and have:

• Basic programming experience in Java-based technologies
• Familiarity with business process management and workflow concepts
