Description:
ALERT: THIS COURSE IS NOT FREE. IT CARRIES AN INTERNAL TUITION OF $695.00.
This instructor facilitated, Internet delivered course will help prepare the student for taking the PMP examination based on the PMBOK® Guide, Third Edition.
The primary objective of this course is to highlight the knowledge needed to pass the exam and thereby help project managers make the most effective use of their time in studying for the exam. Using the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), other PMI publications, and additional reference material prepared specifically for this course, participants gain an understanding of the level of competency required to pass the exam. The student will also become familiar with the format of the exam and will take a practice exam that simulates the actual test.
This course is being facilitated by the e-Learning training arm of ESI International. Upon launching the course from the IBM Global Campus, the student will be presented with instructions on how to connect to ESI's e-Learning web server where you will register with ESI. ESI is required to verify that you are enrolled in Global Campus and will contact IBM to confirm this. Therefore, the student will not be able to commence the course with ESI until this verificaction is complete. Typically this is a 24- 48 hour period. After that, the student will connect directly with ESI to initiate and complete the course.
Each student will have up to 6 calendar weeks from the registration date at ESI to complete the course. As with all distance learning courses available through the IBM Global Campus, once registered the tuition is not refundable.
Enrollment for this course must be through the IBM Global Campus. First time users of the IBM Global Campus need to register before you will be allowed access. The URL for the IBM Global Campus web page is http://w3.education.ibm.com/. Once enrolled, launch the course from within the IBM Global Campus to get started.
