Learn the key object technology concepts, the Object-Oriented (OO) full life cycle model, the typical work products in development and their relationships, the main characteristics of objects, the current trends in methodologies, tools, and techniques to support developing applications using objects. Use the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as standard notation for classes and objects static and dynamic representation.

Audience:
This is a basic course for individuals, including architects, designers, analysts, developers, testers, administrators, managers, and project managers, who use object technology to build e-business applications.
Objectives:
- Describe essential object technology concepts and terminology
- Describe the incremental and iterative process for developing applications using object technology and how it differs from traditional approaches (for example, waterfall) to application development
- Describe the main work products that are developed to support application development using object technology and their relationships to each other
- Describe the impact of designing an application that can accommodate changes and the approaches to support such designs
- Describe current trends in supporting application development using object technology, including methodologies, tools, and frameworks
