Course overview
This 5-day course introduces students to the XP disk array terminology, function, architecture, and configuration. This course is a hands-on course that allows the student to configure LUNs, custom volumes, and logical unit size extension volumes as part of an overall high availability solution. Students will also learn about replication solutions available for the XP. This version uses updated releases of Command View XP Advanced Edition and Performance Advisor.
Prerequisites
Required
- Knowledge of networks and the storage administration tasks for the OS the XP will serve
- It is also beneficial to have and understanding of SANs
