BrightStor® Storage Resource Manager: Implementation and Administration

Overview:

With IT systems managing terabytes of stored data daily, the expense involved is enormous. However, organizations often spend scarce funds on storage devices without fully utilizing the ones they have. The BrightStor Storage Resource Manager (SRM) enables organizations to understand their storage resources and manage them as efficiently as possible.

This instructor-led course provides a hands-on learning environment for participants to administer a storage environment using BrightStor SRM.

Most IT organizations are managing terabytes of stored data across platforms and geographic locations. As a result, storage managers need the knowledge and skills to identify resolve problems quickly before data loss and exposure occur. Participants will set data collection parameters, create queries, set thresholds and automatic alerts, and generate detailed, web-based reports.
