BEA WebLogic Portal 10: Upgrade from WebLogic Portal 8.1

Description:

This course introduces students to the new features and technical capabilities of BEA WebLogic Portal 10. Students will also become familiar with BEA's Eclipse-based portal development environment, BEA Workshop for BEA WebLogic Platform 10.

In addition, this hands-on course also trains students who are already proficient in BEA WebLogic Portal 8.1 on the techniques and methodology used to ensure a successful upgrade to BEA WebLogic Portal 10. Students will use various tools to help upgrade existing portal servers, applications, and data.

• Discuss the new features and capabilities of BEA WebLogic Portal 10
• Describe the new Eclipse-based portal development environment, BEA Workshop for BEA WebLogic Platform 10
• Discuss the techniques and methodology used to upgrade their existing BEA WebLogic Portal 8.1 SP4, SP5 or SP6 applications to BEA WebLogic Portal 10
