C241-ADVANCED CONCEPTS OF AUTODESK REVIT

Description:

This course covers a wide range of advanced topics of Autodesk® Revit Building®, continuing to build on the concepts introduced in the Level 1-Essentials course. Topics range from Site Design to Family creation of custom content, from Phasing and design options to collaboration on a single model. This is an instructor led course to develop a level of comfort and confidence with Autodesk® Revit® through hands-on experience.

- Set up a project utilizing work sets for multi-user input.
- Utilizing phasing into your projects, such as existing, demolition & new construction.
- Create Massing models as a design tool and converting those models into Shell elements.
- Create topography from AutoCAD® (or other) 3d site data, as well as building pads and other site design components.
- Create graphic plans and schedules based on usage and area definitions.
- Create 2D symbol families.
- Create 3D component families.
- Create profile families for use as components for items such as cornices or fascia designs.
- Create in-place families for the unique situations in every design.
- Create materials and lighting to create high quality rendered images of your designs.

Prerequisites: C240 - Fundamentals of Autodesk® Revit® training class or equivalent experience.
