C231- 3D Studio MAX

Description:

This course is intended for the New or Novice users of 3D Studio MAX® who would like to prepare professional presentations of projects, rendered images, walkthroughs, conceptual design ideas, animations, promotional posters, brochures, etc. The Student will learn to publish the results on paper, disk, tape, floppies, CD, DVD, Internet: both video & audio! 

A prerequisite of this course is a functional knowledge in the use of the Windows® Me, NT, 2000, or XP PRO operating system. 

Topics Covered:
Utilize 3D Studio MAX interface 
Navigate the 3D Studio MAX UI and access all of it’s chapters 
Setup a 3D scene and view 3D space 
Create basic geometry including parametric primitives, shapes, basic lofts, lights, cameras, and space warps 
Apply and use modifiers 
Place lights, cameras, and render a scene materials 
Produce basic key frame animation 
Build and animate simple hierarchies
