Overview:

This Hands-On course is designed for the new AutoCAD® & AutoCAD® LT user who requires comprehensive training in AutoCAD® or AutoCAD® LT. It incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for creating, editing, and printing drawings with AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT.

Description:

A prerequisite for this course is a functional knowledge of the Windows® 98, ME, NT, 2000, or XP Home or Pro operating system. 

This course will empower the student to perform their part of the design process utilizing the productivity enhancing tools from Autodesk®.

User interface with AutoCAD
Using basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools
Using and setting up Layers
Creating and inserting reusable symbols (blocks)
Preparing a layout for plotting and Plotting your drawing
Adding text, hatching, and dimensions
