What is the Total Access Pass (TAP) prepaid training account?

The Total Access Pass – prepaid training account (TAP) is a convenient way for customers to purchase TrainingPage training offerings. The TAP is a prepaid training account that you can use to purchase TrainingPage's public or onsite class offerings as well as self-paced, online, virtual classes and select technical conferences.

How does it work?

The TAP account functions as a debit account, funded with training dollars you designate for TrainingPage training offerings. The account can be funded in values of $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000.

What is the minimum TAP account I can purchase?

The minimum TAP account increment is $5,000.

How do the TAP account pre-set values save me money?

When you purchase training with the TAP account, you receive a discount of up to 12% off the retail list cost of training.

Can I add funds to my existing TAP account?

Yes. You can add funds to your account at any time and at any available purchase increment.

Will I be notified when my TAP account is about to expire?

Yes. You will be notified approximately 90 days prior to the expiration of your TAP account.

Can the TAP account be used to purchase training for more than one person in my company?

Yes. The funds in the account can be used to purchase training for any employee in your company.

How do I purchase a TAP account?

A TAP account may be obtained by completing the TAP Account Agreement with your TrainingPage Training Consultant.

When does the TAP account start and expire?

Your account activation date is the date that payment is received. The TAP account will expire 15 months from the activation date.

What denominations can I use from my TAP account?

The TAP usage is not limited by specific denominations. The TAP lets you debit your account with each training event scheduled for the exact amount of training dollars that you want to spend.

UTILIZING THE TOTAL ACCESS PASS (TAP)

What will I receive when I purchase the TAP account?

Once your order is processed you will receive an e-mail that includes:

  • Directions on how to use your account
  • Training Status & Transaction Report
  • PIN code
  • Account balance
  • Named authorized user(s) of the account – you may have up to three designated account users

If I purchase the TAP account, and someone from my company already has established an account, will I receive the same account information?

No, unless the account owner assigns you as an authorized user of their existing TAP account.

May anyone use the TAP to attend classes, onsites or conferences?

The account owner and up to two designated/authorized users of the account may use it to enroll themselves or any other employee for classes, onsites or conferences.

Does TrainingPage control who has access to the TAP PIN?

The TAP PIN access is controlled by the account owner. The TAP PIN is provided to the owner of the account. The TAP account owner may designate up to two additional authorized concurrent users of the TAP account.

How do I give another employee of my company access to use my company's TAP account?

To give another employee access to your TAP account you (the account owner) must submit the Total Access Pass Authorized User Assignment Request form to your TrainingPage Training Consultant.

Do all authorized users of the TAP account have the same level of usage of the account?

Each user of the account has the same level of usage of the account, however, only the account owner can assign and authorize new users.

If I have the TAP account do I still need to enroll students into/schedule a class?

Yes. You must enroll students in classes, schedule onsite classes and register for conferences prior to attending. Students can be enrolled in TrainingPage public classes, schedule onsite classes and register for conferences by calling your TrainingPage Training Consultant at 1-888.4-IT-PAGE (1-888-448-7243) or by visiting www.TrainingPage.com.

How do I use my TAP account so that I will not get an invoice?

Upon enrollment into a class via the TrainingPage website simply select the purchase method of "TAP". When enrolling via email or by phone inform your TrainingPage Training Consultant that you would like to purchase the class with your TAP account. Your Training Consultant will verify your TAP account information and debit your account for the full purchase price. If you do not have the full amount in your account to cover the cost, the difference may be billed to a credit card, purchase order or you can elect to add additional funds to your TAP account at the currently available purchase increments.

How do I confirm that my account has been debited and applied to my purchase?

You will receive a monthly Training Status & Transaction Report.

Can I enroll a student in a course with a class start date after the expiration date of my TAP account?

No. The first date of the course date must be prior to the expiration of the TAP account.

How will I know the balance of funds I have on my account at any particular time?

Your TrainingPage representative will provide the account owner with a monthly Training Status & Transaction Report. The account owner may also request a report at any time.

What kind of information will the Training Status & Transaction Report contain?

The Training Status & Transaction Report will provide full details of your account including original account value, fulfilled orders, pending orders, remaining balance and student class information. This report also provides for inclusion of additional data that may be important for your organization to track, such as: employee number, cost codes, and functional area. Your Training Consultant will work with you to customize your report as needed.

WHAT CAN YOU PURCHASE WITH THE TOTAL ACCESS PASS (TAP)?

What TrainingPage training services can I purchase with my TAP account?

The TAP account can be applied to the thousands of class offerings within the United States as listed on the TrainingPage website:

Eligible training offerings from the TrainingPage website Include:

Eligible training delivery methods include:

  • Instructor-led public classroom training
  • Boot Camps
  • Onsite training
  • Self-paced training
  • Online training
  • Virtual/Live Online training
  • Mentoring

Additional eligible offerings include:

  • Instructor travel/expenses for onsite training
  • Equipment charges, such as class hosting service, servers and/or laptops
  • Classroom rentals

How do I use my TAP account to pay for expenses associated with an onsite class?

All onsite training class prices are provided as a full list, all-inclusive price. Your TAP account is debited for the entire amount of onsite class including travel expenses associated with the onsite class, course tuition, equipment charges and room rental when applicable. The total amount is detailed on your Training Status & Transaction Report.

RULES, REGULATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS

What happens if students fail to cancel or attend a course or conference they have enrolled in?

TrainingPage's "Cancellation" policy and "No Show" policy applies. You will be billed the full price of the course if you do not cancel your enrollment in a course at least fifteen (15) business days prior to the scheduled start date or if you do not show up to attend the course. Your TAP account will be debited for the cost of this course.

Am I entitled to any other discount offerings with my TAP through TrainingPage?

The TAP account is a discount product, and therefore cannot be combined with any other programs, discounts or offers. You may elect to purchase training separately to receive other discounts or promotional items from TrainingPage.

Can I close out my account and get a refund?

No. The TAP account is non-refundable. Your account will be valid for 15 months.

If I purchase a TAP account, will I be able to take all of the courses in my local area?

No. While we make every effort to locate your desired courses in your local area, the purchase of a TAP account does not guarantee that a class will be held in a specific location. While TrainingPage offers courses in many locations throughout the United States, not all courses are available in all locations. TrainingPage can also provide Onsite training to meet your training needs.

Can I use my TAP account to purchase an additional TAP account?

No. The TAP account cannot be used to purchase an additional TAP account.

If my company does not use all the training dollars in our TAP account, can it be extended?

No. The TAP account is valid for 15 months.

Do I have to guarantee my enrollment or purchase with a credit card if I use the TAP account?

No. The TAP account is a prepaid account.
